Botex products are very common in the UK with around 800 cranes in total in operation. Many are in use on private estates and with small contracting operations. Others are used to feed sawmills with both hard and softwood.

Many of the more recent models are working in hardwoods with the unique lifting ability being utilised to the full.
A number of units are working overseas and recent sales have been to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Uruguay and Argentina.
Non forestry uses have been as follows: Fitment to agricultural trailers, lime spreaders with clamshell bucket and use with other types of specialist machines which require a loading arm.
