Formed in 1963 by the late James Pearson Wilson originally as a contracting business, Jas P Wilson has developed into a national supplier of forestry equipment.
Services include:-
New Rottne cut to length timber harvesters and forwarders for thinning and clearfell operations.
New and refurbished Keto cut to length harvesting heads available to fit to your existing base or to new or used base of your choice.
Quality used and refurbished forwarders and harvesters. Around 50% of Wilson's business are used machines. These are sold workshop checked, repairs and serviced. Warranty on used machines is also available.
Quality used and refurbished County and Valmet tractors prepared for forestry or tree surgery work. Contact us with your exact requirements and we'll build it.
New and refurbished Botex timber trailers, cranes and attachments. If it's a tough job - you need Botex.
New Posch range of peeler pointers, shredders, log splitters, saw benches, chippers and firewood processors.

Directions from North
A74 (M) to Moffat. Take the A701 towards Dumfries. Head West on A75 around Dumfries by-pass, taking the A711 to Dalbeattie. Upon reaching Dalbeattie, pass straight through the town and turn left onto A710. Drive for approx. 1 mile, Wilson's is on the right.

M6 to Gretna. Take A75 for Dumfries. Continue around Dumfries by-pass and take the A711 to Dalbeattie. Upon reaching Dalbeattie, pass straight through the town and turn left onto A710. Drive for approx. 1-mile Wilson's is on the right.
