SMV Rapid is the largest forwarder in the Rapid family and it is realy living up to its name as a large forwarder.The combination of strength and flexibillity together with high operating reliability do the machine justice when the terrain is tough and the forwarding distances are long.
The construction concept is in lot the same as the other machines in the Rapid program and a lot of the components
are identical, but to handle heavier loads the transmission with axles and wheels and the wagon frame and loader are a lot stronger.
A large forwarder must most of the time be equipped with tracks to get enough carrying capacity but since the wagon bogie on the SMV forwarder is constructed for 30,5" wheels a lot of jobs can be done without tracks if you choose broad low profile tyres in that dimension

6 cylinder, water cooled turbo engine JOHN DEERE 6068 TF 250 and hydralic pumps for working hydraulic and transmission built together to a compact unit. All steering and control through electronic controlsystem.
