Firewood & Forestry with A & C Douglas Jones

We have recently received some images from Andy Douglas Jones and his son Callum. The pair are based near Inverness carrying out a wide range of forestry and firewood tasks as Strathnairn Firewood, (A & C Douglas Jones). However, Andy’s images come from a little further afield. On a recent trip to France, Andy happened across a Posch Firewood user, who had an incredible set up using an extremely long log deck in-feed system. Posch à la France… Whereas Callum’s images are of the business back home as he holds the fort. These images are of their latest toy, a Botex 570 loader on an extendable trailer capable of carrying up to 2 bays of 3 metre timber!  All this timber gets pulled behind a powerful Valtra 8350! This is the ideal set up for secondary forwarding, and large tree removal!

If you have any timber you feel would suit their requirements, why not give them a call today, Please see their Website here for full contact details or call Callum on 07778 020496, Andy on 07739 130590 or contact Mhairi in the office on 01808 521369.
