FAE UML/HY – UML/HY/VT Forestry Excavator Mulcher
Forestry mulcher with fixed tooth rotor (UML/HY) for excavators.
With its updated design, the UML/HY has increased its strength and durability.
The addition of the VT motor option has made the UML/HY VT one of the most productive units in its class.
The hydraulic motor is internally positioned in the frame to protect it from dirt and potential damage, ensuring maximum reliability throughout the life of the attachment.
The VT version with automatic variable displacement hydraulic motor increases productivity by up to 50% and simultaneously reduces fuel consumption.
The standard equipment includes:
- Enclosed/anti dust machine body
- Dual row protection chains
- Welded steel counter-blades
- Motor enclosed in the frame
- Bulkhead for hydraulic connections
- 32/65cc variable manual displacement hydraulic piston motor (HY)
- Transmission with belts (HY)
- Hydraulic piston motor 80cc with relief and anticavitation valve (UML/HY/SONIC)
- Poly-Chain® belts transmission (VT-SONIC)
- Flow control system valve
- Safety and anticavitation valve
- Diverter valve (SONIC)
- Sonic System (SONIC)
- Hydraulic rear hood
FAE Group is a world leader in the design and construction of professional machinery for road construction, agricultural and forestry applications.
FAE MEANS QUALITY, RELIABILITY, AND INNOVATION.
For over 25 years they have been offering cutting edge, innovative solutions in design and technology and unique due to the quality of the materials and performance. The wide range of forestry mulchers & tillers are stocked by Jas P Wilson’s.
Fit this to a Forestry Guarded Harvadig Excavator
The HarvaDig Forestry Excavator system is an excavator based solution, converting standard excavators into forestry harvesting machines, whilst keeping their potential for other more typical plant tasks. FAE mulchers and stump grinders are two options, other implements include Harvesting heads (SP Heads or Keto Heads available), tree shears (JAK available), buckets, timber grapples (Botex available), cone splitters (Lasco available), post knockers, winches, brash rakes… the list is endless.
