The Igland 1601 is a 1.6T radio controlled hydraulic winch made for a variety of purposes. The hydraulic winch can be mounted on a forestry timber loader and be used to haul in timber that is outside of the loader’s reach. It can alternatively be mounted on trucks as a salvage winch, or directly onto a tractor or an all-terrain vehicle.

Igland winches are produced in Grimstad, Norway and have become a world wide brand, known for their high quality and strength. During the 80’s and 90’s, practically every forestry contractor would own an Igland double drum winch, fitted to a County or other type of tractor skidder.

Igland now produce a range of single and double drum 3 point linkage winches, ranging from 2 to 9 tonnes.

We have a national network of Regional Service Engineers in well stocked service vans to ensure you get the most from your machinery.
