JAK 300 Excavator Tree Shear Grapple

Share:

Features

550 kg Weight
30 cm Max Cut Diameter
12-20 t recommended base machine size

This Excavator Tree Shear Grapple has a twin ram system, with a fixed Hardox blade capable of cutting 30cm (12″) diameter trees.
As a result, a JAK Excavator Tree Shear Grapple is a fast, efficient and cost effective tool for first thinnings, site management, embankment clearing and more. The grapple design makes it possible to cut a tree from its base, very near the ground. This machine benefits from replaceable blade, which can quickly unbolt if needed.
Weight: 550-590kg (depending on exact specification). Operating pressure 250-300 bar.

Speed up the job with an optional extra Collector

The Fixed 250 and 300 models are available with the optional extra “Collector”. This attachment adds 2 finger grabs at the top of the unit to bunch material together between cuts. The operator controls the collector separately to the shears to dictate when to activate this option to allow flexibility between cutting small diameter timber where bunching would be of great benefit, or choose not to engage them on max diameter timber for example. This option is a proven time saver on thinnings, and site clearance tasks.
