Our mid-sized cone log splitter with a larger capacity over the M1 models.

Designed for excavators, telehandlers, forest cranes & similar machines with hydraulics. Popular with customers wanting to split oversized timber down to size to fit firewood processors or wood chippers for logs or biomass. This model of cone log splitter is especially popular for full time commercial applications.

4 Versions of the M2 exist, with the following specifications.

  • 5.2 ‘k’ = Cone diameter: 28 cm, 200-270 bar. Flow: 15-50L/Minute.
  • 5.2 ‘S’ = Cone diameter: 40 cm, 200-270 bar. Flow: 50-200L/Minute.
  • 6.2 ‘k’ = Cone diameter: 28 cm, 170-220 bar. Flow: 15-50L/Minute.
  • 6.2 ‘S’ = Cone diameter: 40 cm, 170-220 bar. Flow: 50-200L/Minute.

Jas P Wilson’s have created a product which combines the Cone log Splitter with a quality Botex timber grapple. This product is called ‘The Yard Master‘ . The system makes the splitting of oversize timber much easier and more productive. It also allows easy loading of Log Decks Etc without needing to change the attachment. Swapping implements instantly, without leaving the seat. The unit only requires one single acting oil supply on the boom as the system has its own valve block.
