A powerful cone log splitter designed for excavators and tele-handlers from 20-35 tonne base machines.

Designed to split over-sized timber down for further processing. Split timber would then fit firewood processors or wood chippers for log or biomass production. Cone Log Splitters are supplied with a custom quick hitch to suit your base machine and hoses. The M4 cone log splitter has a replaceable hardened tip, to ensure that maintaining excellent production is easily within reach.

4 Versions of the M4 Cone log Splitter exist, the 5.2 (with either an ‘S’ or ‘XL’ cone, or the 6.2 version with the same 2 cone options) Please call for a discussion on your base machine, to match up available models with your base machine specification. Models in the M4 range suit between 20-35T.

Jas P Wilson’s have created a product which combines the Cone log Splitter with a quality Botex timber grapple. This product is called ‘The Yard Master‘ . The system makes the splitting of oversize timber much easier and more productive. It also allows easy loading of Log Decks Etc without needing to change the attachment. Swapping implements instantly, without leaving the seat. The unit only requires one single acting oil supply on the boom as the system has its own valve block.
