The Mus Max diesel chipper series combines the powerful high performance wood chippers with the performance and efficiency of modern diesel engines. These units are powered by Caterpillar’s engine technology. These diesel engines are available in a wide range of power ratings, and with specifications matching enquired emissions standards, depending on the application. Each chipper has a closed hydraulic unit. Solid or planetary gears are driven by powerful oil engine, which guarantees high performance and above-average durability. Modern CANBUS electronics and load-dependent infeed belt control ensure maximum operator comfort. The aggressive infeed with optional exchangeable blades and spikes, providing continuous efficiency in feeding. Various blowers, including a hydraulic blower, in combination with the various ejection systems, ensure the best wood chip quality and high ejection rates.

These self-contained Mus-Max models are know as the “DLB” Trailed chassis with Conveyor.

The DLB unit is mounted on a tandem axle chassis with air brake system, discharge by a conveyor belt (1m wide – 8m long). Ideal for bigger wood chips because there is no re-shredding. (Only available as WT10XL DLB)
Depending on the application, these self-contained units can have their specifications adjusted during the initial ordering process to create a bespoke solution to your chipping requirements.
