The Firewood Ringer, capable of multiple movements to process twisted, knotted and oversized timber into manageable rings of firewood.
A brand-new machine, for the firewood industry that revolutionises mechanical handling and processing of large bent and awkward timber.

• Increase yield & reduce waste

• Increase safety & remove strains of the current process.

• Make multiple cuts without re-handling, even as you work around a bend or a knot.

This unit is ideal for feeding the Posch AutoLogger with a supply of nice rounds, from previously difficult timber at speed!

This patent protected innovation launched in Spring of 2025, and offers the unparalleled ability to cut rings from typically challenging timber which would otherwise be unable to be processed, without the a high degree of high-risk manual handling, and hand cutting with chainsaws.

This unit benefits from the utilisation of a number of heavy-duty, highly regarded components, including a Hultdins 260S Timber Grab, a Hultdins SuperSaw and an IMO rotator.
Hultdins 260S: Weighing 233kg, grapple area of 0.26m2.

Almost every firewood yard has awkward timber lying around with no easy way of dealing with it, especially if you want to turn this into a valuable firewood product. Usually, this pile will be attacked with chain saws to try and reduce the pile but more often than not, it will either be cut into boiler / kiln material or even just pushed over the edge and left to rot. The Firewood Ringer offers the solution to the above issues, watch the video below and consider your own timber, or the timber you might have access to, as we believe anyone we can demonstrate this machine to, will have a different outlook on their machinery choice for dealing with typical British firewood.

This unit can help to handle and start to process all timber as it comes, when it comes, and with minimum fuss or waste, all from the comfort of an operator’s cabin. An attachment which takes a very manual job otherwise into something very easy from the operator’s cab! The range of movements allow for multiple rings to be cut without repositioning the Grab 🔥
