The TP 175 PTO Wood Chipper is produced in high strength steel that is 50% stronger than conventional steel. This makes the machine stronger, even though it weighs less than traditionally constructed wood chippers of the same type. This unit weighs in at 519kg and is capable of accepting timber up to 7″ in diameter. The low weight provides an important side effect: Now even small tractors and compact tractors from 40 hp can handle a larger chipper.
The TP 175 PTO Wood Chipper is designed using the TP OPTICUT knife system, with smaller knives positioned offset on the disc. This ensures there is always a knife engaged on the wood in the wood chipper. The result is fewer vibrations, more even loading of the machine, lower fuel consumption, and woodchip that is more uniform in quality.
