Jas P Wilson is now offering a Hire-to-Buy scheme on selected models for those interested in trialing machinery first hand before making the decision to buy.

Customer Benefits

  • Hands on Experience – Allows you to try the product in real world conditions which builds confidence in its performance and suitability.
  • Reduced Risk – Allows you to test the product before making a full financial commitment.
  • Support Decision Making – Allowing you to compare products practically rather than relying solely on specs and price.
  • Cost-Effective – The first 4 week hire fee is deducted from the purchase price if you decide to buy, this means you don’t pay extra for trying.
  • Flexibility – If the product does not meet your expectations, you are not locked into a purchase.

How it works

  • You pay an upfront deposit, then you are charged a weekly hire charge.
  • If you decide to purchase the product your hire fee up to (maximum) 4 weeks hire and deposit are deducted from the purchase price.
  • If you hire the product for longer than 4 weeks, only the first 4 weeks will be deducted from the purchase price.
  • The minimum hire period is 2 weeks with no maximum limit.
  • If you decide not to purchase the product, all weekly hire charges are kept by Jas P
  • Wilson, and the upfront deposit is returned to you subject to our terms and conditions.
  • Jas P Wilson can provide delivery and collection services if required, this would incur an additional charge based on your location.

How to get started

Step 1.

Contact Jas P Wilson and ask to speak to the Hire Department – the Hire Department will take your details, offer support and advice on what product suits you best and provide you with costing information.

Step 2.

You will need to carry out a JPW Eligibility test, this involves completing a JPW Credit Approval Form, sending us a copy of your photo ID, a recent utility bill which shows your address and a copy of your insurance which covers hired in plant or machinery.

Step 3.

Once you have passed the JPW Eligibility test, we will ask for measurements of your hitch and/or couplings if applicable.

Step 4.

We send you a copy of our terms and conditions along with a hire contract which you must sign and return, followed by a pro forma for the upfront deposit.

Step 5.

Once the signed hire contract has been received and the pro forma has been settled, we will dispatch the product to you if you have selected a delivery option.
